Joint Injections

A healthcare professional wearing gloves administers a vaccine injection to a woman's upper arm.

We provide joint injections for the treatment of painful musculoskeletal conditions, particularly osteoarthritis of the knee and shoulder, as well as frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis). Steroid injections can help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and improve mobility, allowing you to return more comfortably to daily activities and exercise.

During your consultation, your GP will assess your symptoms, discuss whether an injection is appropriate for you, and explain the potential benefits and risks of treatment. Joint injections are often used alongside physiotherapy, exercise, and other supportive measures as part of a comprehensive management plan.

Appointments are available for assessment and treatment of knee and shoulder pain.
