Joint Injections

We provide joint injections for the treatment of painful musculoskeletal conditions, particularly osteoarthritis of the knee and shoulder, as well as frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis). These steroid injections can effectively reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and improve mobility, enabling you to comfortably engage in daily activities and exercise, making it an ideal solution for knee pain treatment and shoulder pain treatment. 

During your consultation, your GP will assess your symptoms, determine if an injection is appropriate for your knee or shoulder pain, and explain the potential benefits and risks of treatment. Joint injections are often utilized alongside physiotherapy, exercise, and other supportive measures as part of a comprehensive management plan. 

Appointments are available for the assessment and treatment of both knee and shoulder pain.

Appointments are available with all doctors for assessment and treatment of knee pain and shoulder pain. If you think you may benefit from knee pain treatment or shoulder pain treatment, please book in with Dr. Paul.

We have a direct payment scheme with VHI for treatments such as knee pain treatment and shoulder pain treatment. For other insurers, we can provide a receipt for you to claim the cost from them.
